Global-ready solar planning

Same appliances. Different sunlight. Different panel count.

Local solar resource changes how much energy each kilowatt of panels can produce. SFP Technologies keeps the experience simple with optional regional presets and a custom value for any country.

☀️3–6 hglobal planning presets
🇳🇬

Nigeria · South / coastal

4.2 design sun hours

Conservative starting point for cloudier coastal and southern locations.

🇳🇬

Nigeria · Central

4.8 design sun hours

Balanced starting point for central Nigeria.

🇳🇬

Nigeria · North

5.5 design sun hours

Higher-resource starting point for northern Nigeria.

🌍

Global · Cloudy / low sun

3 design sun hours

Conservative preset for lower-sun climates or difficult sites.

🌍

Global · Moderate sun

4 design sun hours

A cautious global starting point when exact data is unavailable.

🌍

Global · Sunny

5 design sun hours

For consistently sunny climates with an open, unshaded array.

🌍

Global · Very sunny

6 design sun hours

Use only where reliable local solar-resource data supports it.

Important distinction

A regional preset is a starting point, not a roof survey.

Peak-sun-hours is a design shorthand. Shade, orientation, tilt, heat, dust, wiring and seasonal weather also affect production. Use reliable local data when available and ask the installer for a production simulation before purchase.
